The Remains of SS Dicky

The SS Dicky was a coastal trader of 226 tons. Operating from 1887 till it was wrecked in February, 1893 on what is now known as Dicky Beach. Despite the Caloundra City Council removing most of the upper structure, recent storms which caused massive erosion of the beach have given us a rare chance to see the remains which for years have remained hidden beneath the sand.
